My Story
I spent 10 years teaching special education in Oregon, Indianapolis, and Costa Rica. I loved my students and fellow teachers, but I wanted a break from the public school system.
I’m currently a photographer, ADHD Coach, yoga & meditation teacher, digital marketing / SEO analyst, amateur house renovator, an uncle, a cat dad, and drone pilot.
I’ve done a lot of jobs, tons of hobbies, and I’m an avid learner. The one passion that has been with me the longest and most consistent is photography. I’m based in Indianapolis and travel frequently.
Why Mental Health & Mind Body Professionals?
I was a senior SEO and digital marketing analyst for 5 years at a large agency. I’m now solely focused on helping mental health & mind body professionals in Indianapolis, Indiana.
As I moved forward in my personal healing journey, I realized that I needed to be of service and helping businesses that I believe in. Therapy, coaching, & mediation have been life changing for me.
I want to help people find YOUR services so that you can make real, loving, lasting impacts on their lives. I have an MS.Ed in Special Education with a focus on behavioral disorders and 14 years experience.
I’ve worked as a middle school therapeutic skills specialist, and been a counselor in a homeless youth shelter and a camp counselor. I have read so many books, listened to hundred’s of podcasts, taken many classes, and watched a ton of videos on a wide variety of topics in the mental health world.
I have accumulated a great working knowledge of what content ranks, what keywords people are searching for, social media strategy that works and much more. I greatly enjoy working in the mental health world and helping others.
I know the mental health & mind body industry and I’m an agency of one. I’m highly motivated to make sure your site, SEO, and marketing are top notch. I know your market, having grown up in Indianapolis.
Why Photography?
I turned 16 and my mom gifted me a used 35mm Minolta SLR. A passion was born. That Minolta camera served me well in high school photography class and later in my photography classes at Indiana University.
I was the friend annoying everyone taking photos and videos. Their response to seeing the photos and videos taught me that I have the ability to bring joy to others by doing something I really enjoyed. I quickly realized I could create beautiful art with my cameras.
I went on as a hobbyist and amateur photographer and built my first website when teaching high school special education. Later in life, I turned professional, specializing in lifestyle, product, and airbnb photography. I’m grateful and fortunate to create photos and videos for clients & friends.
Why Airbnb Photography?
I love home building and appreciate craftsmanship and creativity. Shooting homes gives me the opportunity to really showcase design from all angles. I look at interior spaces as indoor landscapes. I bring a unique natural viewpoint to my airbnb photos and create feeling that traditional real estate shots often lack. To stand out in a competitive market, you have to curate a feeling.
